So on to day 5 of my 40 days. Things are going well. I’ve only drunk water since Wednesday (except for coffee on our night roadtrip because I didn’t wanna fall asleep driving haha!) and no chocolate, lollies, biscuits, cakes, icecream etc all that delicious shit I love. So feeling good and have been to the gym religiously. Feeling good :) It will be awesome to see how much weight I’ve lost at the end of 40 days!

P.S lost another 3% bodyfat. Can’t remember what I started at but I am now 38%. I must have started quite high though yuck.
I forgot to post yesterday about my weigh in :O I have lost a whole kilo this week and I am so fucking stoked. Last week I lost 400gm in a week. Both of those are my biggest losses and both have been on this no sugar thing. Really motivating and awesome. Hopefully it continues on like this and I will be 5kg lighter by Christmas :) My personal trainer was ecstatic. Also lost 2cm off my hips and 1cm off my waist. Also have noticed a huge decrease in my appetite this week as well as a lower threshold of fullness. So I don’t have to eat much to feel satisfied. Also a huge change in my tatsebuds. Last week I bought some natural youghurt and I thought it tasted like shit compared to strawberry (my usual) and yesterday I tried it again and it is delicious. It tastes sweet when last week I thought it tasted bitter. Crazy stuff.
So I have just completed week two of IQS. I have seriously never felt better (hopefully even better soon!) so next week begins the week ALL sugar is out. Even fruit for the next 8 weeks :O Wish me luck! On the plus side had a weigh in yesterday and my bodyfat has decreased another 1% this week. So I started at 45% (that sounds fucking terrible!) and now at 40%. And lost about 300gm. Still not much but hopefully with the loss of all sugars I will see some big changes :) Clean eating wooo.
Had my first slip up today :O Ate about 10 pieces of 70% dark chocolate so at least I aimed for one better than normal chocolate….right? Afterwards I just felt like shit and really sick. But as the book says we learn from our slip ups and it was eye opening to see that I didn’t really enjoy it as much as I thought I would. Aside from that this week has gone amazing. I made a really nice soup the other night out of heaps of different green veges. I made me own iceblocks too which are fucking amazing as it’s starting to get warm here. Feeling noticeably hungrier giving up the highly processed foods but apparently after your metabolism sorts itself that will all go away. I have felt pretty amazing though. Really alert and motivated. And my brain feels clear and focused. It’s amazing. So far I have given up lollies, chocolates and most sweet sugary things. And my chewing gum. Which is a HUGE habit for me ( I eat like 14 pieces a day) but apparently too much artificial sweetness can cause weight gain anyway. Next week comes artificial sweeteners fruit/fruit sugars etc :O Should be much harder then. But I’m sure I will manage. Life is good <3
I had a productive day at work and I feel fan-fucking-tastic!! YAYAYAYAYAY.
Feeling pretty good. All this health food is expensive though :S Just made my own cereal from my I Quit Sugar cookbook. And just threw some stuff together and made a delicious smoothie thing. Strawberries, Half a green apple, orange juice, mint leaves, cinnamon and ice. Nom. So I am all set for breakfast tomorrow :)
